TRIBUTE TO LATE NWADIANI CHIEF SIR G.C ORANIKA (OCHENDU ABATETE)

It was with a heavy heart that we received the news of your passing. Your mother from Umuezeaya Kindred of Enuogbu na Urudunu Community Ogbu Abatete was our darling daughter we bequeathed to your father Chief Oranika of Agbaja Abatete and you were her first son. We watched you grow up to be a very important person in Abatete and Nigeria in general. You rose to the first permanent secretary in the newly created Federal Capital Territory Abuja. There, you proved your mettle and attracted many Igbos and Nigerians to Abuja to build up the nascent Federal Capital Territory. You were of great help to our people who today are proud property owners in Abuja. In Abatete, you were conferred with the prestigious Title: Ichie Okaka OCHENDO ABATETE. Back in our Umuezeaya Family, you rehabilitated our brother Okafor Francis (Oka Franzy) and built a magnificent storey building for him in Enuogbu na Urudunu Community and took charge of training of his children. We mourn you with nostalgia and hope in accordance with the Holy scripture in John14: 2-3, 1Cor. 15:51-52, and Rev. 21:4 that one day, we shall meet to part no more. Adieu Oke NWADIANI!
