Ochendo Abatete, today family, friends, in-laws, relatives, well wishers gather from far and near not to mourn your loss, but to celebrate the impactful life that a great icon, the most amazing philanthropist spent on earth touching lives in every aspect of life. Onwa Idemili, was more than just an uncle to me. He was a father to all of us, a mentor, a giver, consoler, great adviser, lover of family and humanity. A very soft easy going man but so powerful and influential. Ebubedike Awka, you did not only brought huge respect for yourself, you made us who share same name with you to enjoy same level of respect which you earned through your hard work during your time as a civil servant. Whenever your name is mentioned, what comes to mind is oh that living saint, a man with heart of gold, a very good man, a peace maker and more. Ugwumba Emekuku, when you were on earth you had a way of making everyone feel seen and heard, no matter what. Your laughter was so contagious and infectious and your God given wisdom was a treasure I and my family will forever cherish and build on. Akanachimba Umuozu, though it’s hard to imagine life without you, I take comfort in knowing that your spirit will live on in all of us. You showed us what it takes to serve God, and what it means to live with integrity, compassion and love. Rest in peace knowing you will never be forgotten.
